It’s been a glorious Thanksgiving weekend at Wintergreen Resort – lots of friends and families celebrating the holiday together and enjoying kid friendly programs such as gingerbread house making, wreath making, guided nature tour, etc. Just as exciting as Thanksgiving in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Wintergreen though was the start of snow making which kicked off last night at 10:31pm – first to come on was one of the newest addition to Wintergreen’s snowmaking arsenal, “The Arm”. It will be cold enough for snowmaking for at least the next 10 nights and we look forward to opening for skiing on or about December 10.
