There were lots of activity at Wintergreen this weekend with both WPOA and WPI annual meetings, and of course, there were great activities for the kids as part of the weekend’s Spooktacular activities program. Meetings and fun for the kids weren’t the only notable events though. This home located at 18 Coopers Vantage was reduced in price to $695,000. Originally listed for sale in 2007 for $899,000, it is a good example of why this is an extraordinary time to be a buyer. Events include campfire and storytelling on Friday evening; caramel apple making, costume party, and scenic Blue Ridge Mountain chairlift rides on Saturday. This was the view today from the Wintergreen Founders Vision Overlook. The air today in the Blue Ridge Mountains was incredibly clear offering some of the most stunning views I’ve seen in months. The mountain ridges around Wintergreen and beyond looked as though you could reach out and touch them. Homes are starting to emerge through thinning foliage here in Wintergreen Va, but there will be several more weeks of good fall color to enjoy. You can’t see it now, but when the leaves are down, this home will have spectacular 180 degree mountain and Shenandoah Valley views for six months of the year!
